Motivation for your miles.

I’m really a flower…

I don’t like to run in the sun.

When the sun comes out, I wilt.

I must be a flower.

Wondering…does anyone out there ENJOY running in the sun?

Running inspires me to live. It helped me remember what winning felt like during a season of loss. The Lord speaks to me most during the miles....because there I'm giving Him the time to do so. These are the things that motivate me to run. I hope they inspire you to live God's best for your life as well. Happy Running!

  1. This made me laugh! I feel the same way about running in the sun!

  2. NO! I am very pale and ginger, I am not made for the sunshine. It’s not that I feel massively out of breath or warm/hot, it makes me feel tired and heavy. It’s a weird feeling. Gonna have to start getting used to it though 😦

    • Exactly! You feel like you’re wilting! My husband always pokes fun at me for this. I’m going to show him that I’m not the only one! He’s the weird one 🙂 We’ll either have to get used to it…or wake up earlier!!!

  3. I LOVE running in the hot sun!! I sweat more and I feel more challenged, get to wear lighter, less restrictive clothing, and I come home with some color.

  4. Oh I’m so right there with you! I hate running in the heat but I can’t escape it living in Florida!
