Motivation for your miles.

As long as you’re looking down, you’ll only see grey & more tough miles ahead.

Head down=Miles and miles of boring grey asphalt…and wondering, “Will this run ever end?”

Hold your head up, hold your head up, hold your head up!

Sometimes I wonder if God gets tired of reminding me to do this. 🙂

He’s only been at it 3 years now!

Hold your head up and enjoy the ever changing paintbrush of God.

Gold, pink, purple, grey…Did you notice how the clouds changed shape and color in a matter of minutes.

Every shape, size & hue imaginable…the dad throwing baseballs to his son…fit & healthy soccer players….the people walking themselves into a healthier life….Did you notice God’s beautiful people enjoying life?

And as the scenery changed, from flat road to woods…

…Chin up!

Little dancing lights filling the theatre of the woods…Did you notice the hundreds of dancing fireflies that God sent you to enjoy?

In both running and life…it all depends on how you look at it…your PERSPECTIVE.

“Lift up your eyes, look at all of the blessings that surround you.

Make the conscious decision to lift up your head and ENJOY!”

But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.  Psalm 3:3

Running inspires me to live. It helped me remember what winning felt like during a season of loss. The Lord speaks to me most during the miles....because there I'm giving Him the time to do so. These are the things that motivate me to run. I hope they inspire you to live God's best for your life as well. Happy Running!

  1. Awesome job! I always try to take in my surroundings when I run. From nature to people on their porches. There is even one place now where a bulldog just watches from inside the fence when he used to bark and try to get me. I’ve passed him so many times that I think he likes me!

    • Thank you for reading and commenting ❤ It doesn't surprise me at all that you are so observant…that's who you are ALL the time 🙂 I didn't know that about the bulldog….neat! Introduce us next time 🙂
