You know you’re recovering nicely from your race when:
Your toilet no longer reminds you of a medieval torture device.
You understand don’t you…tell me I’m not the only one! 🙂

Sometimes I look at the signs and think how nice it was that someone put them there.
Other times as I’m running towards them, the only thought that comes to mind is,
“Oh shut up.”

I am currently training to run the Mercedes Marathon for a SECOND time this February.
Today, the Hal Higdon Novice 2 Marathon Training Program called for an 11 mile run. Less than half way through the run, I was really struggling.
Hence, the following short conversation:
It did get easier! 11 miles are officially in the books!

…only to find that the most viewed, MOST PINNED blog entry is quickly becoming the one you wrote about….
