……couldn’t even run 1/2 a lap around the track….
….really aggravated that her husband drove her to the track even though she was the one who suggested it…argued the whole way there…
……get’s tired brushing her teeth…
…me.

Yay another married couple who runs together!! It is the single biggest thing I miss doing with my husband right now. I had to stop running when I hit third trimester, but once the baby is born and my doc gives me the go ahead I’ll be hitting the trails again 🙂

It has been a blessing to run together. Running, is a mirror of our marriage.

Any tips for some beginner runners? 🙂

Buy some GOOD SHOES! Listen to your body. Don’t quit!
You can avoid a lot of injuries, just by wearing the correct shoes.
Listen to YOUR body….I started the Couch to 5k/10k program over 3 times, before I actually “felt” like a runner. (Actually, you become a runner the day you decide to get off the couch.)
Don’t quit! Sometimes you will get off track and disappoint yourself. Just get back in there and keep going!
Have fun! You’re worth it!

Thanks for the like! I just started running a few months ago and I love it! I’m trying to get my husband to start too so we can run together! I’ll have to show him your blog!

It has been very nice to run and train together. I have truly enjoyed it! It was also rewarding when I was running by myself the first two years. We married young and have done EVERYTHING TOGETHER! I am glad that it was something I did on my own in the beginning. It was good for me. My husband says he runs because he couldn’t get me to stop chasing him. 🙂
Happy Running to You! It’s life changing!

If you have a facebook account, you can read my Couch to 10k journal, if you’d like. This is when I learned that I loved to run & write. If anyone is just getting started running, I’m sure you’ll relate! https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1530598827030.69644.1296510336&type=3

Very inspiring! I have beenmriainly training on my own and found that it can rather get me out of my own rythm whenever I train with someone….
Well- maybe its just all about creating a new habit 😉
